ETAS is a non-profit organisation
founded in 1983 by teachers for teachers, with over 1200 individual members
in private institutions, state schools and universities. In addition there
are many institutional and associate members. ETAS has seventeen branches throughout Switzerland.
For its role in teacher training and development, ETAS has gained
recognition from various cantonal educational authorities, as well as from
other major educational insititions in Switzerland. ETAS is a member of IATEFL.
